Tottling my car

September 9, 2006 i tootled my brand knew car. I flipped off the 195 3 times down a ditch. I was living in Florida for only a couple of months at the time, and i was so scared. My friend was actually following me on the highway and he saw the whole thing, he thought i was dead. So many people pulled over like 4 cars. This is how it all happened i was in the right lane going slow and i went to go to the middle a car was their and honked so i went back to the right and lost control of the car. The cops said i was lucky to be alive they couldn't believe i was perfectly fine. I did not have a scratch on me. I was just dirty i had so much dirt on my from flipping. I had like 3 feet of dirt and branches in my car. Its landed the right way up the car. My roof was dented in the back windshield was gone most of the windows was gone. My rear view was gone the car was demolished is did not look like the person in it was OK. I got scared so i actually got my friend to drive the car to my apartment complex because i was literally a half mile away the car actually drove and fell apart once we turned in my complex air conditioner filter fell right on the floor out of my engine. It turns out their is a flip to this story, the people on the highway called the cops saying a girl got into a really bad car accident flipped her car and some crazy guy drove the car away with her. They didn't know i knew him, so the cops were looking for me, somebody in my apartment complex called the cops saying their was a really badly destroyed car in the complex. They put 2 and 2 together and called the complex to find out who the car belonged too. I had literally 6 cops and EMT, firefighters at my door. They said what happened am i crazy how did i not go to the hospital they were yelling at my friends saying that they should of called 911. The first thing they suspected was that i was drunk that's why i did all this. which i was i made the worst decision in my life and almost killed my self. The cop was in the ambulance with me and he was what did you have to drink tonight i smell it all over you? i was like wait for the tests to come in then we will talk. It ended up that i had very little alcohol in me because of the big time period that i was in my apartment. I got a careless driving ticket for 118 dollars and no points because i am licenced in new york. The cop stayed with me most of the night telling me how lucky i am to be alive and the other girl who crashed her car tonight didn't make it a 25 year old girl. He really knocked sense into me after that night i never drank and drove again and i never will. People don't think its as series as it really it i don't want to be the reason somebody gets hurt or killed. i learned a lifelong lesson, drinking and driving kills. sometimes it not your fault someone else could hurt you but you should be aware and sober at all times so you can defensively drive. I could of died that nights, i caused allot of stress for my parents they flew to Florida they were so worried when the hospital called them. I will never make that mistake again sometime there is no second chance. i should of got in trouble that, the craziest part of this story is that my grandfather passed away exactly a year before that. Its as if he was watching over me.

Italy

Italy is the most interesting contry i have been to yet. Two years ago i went there with my family and best friend. I went to Milan, Florence, Venice, Naples, Rome, Pizza, The island of pompei, the island of capri. Milan had the best shopping, i got stuck in a dust storm there at night with my best friend i was so scared i didn't know what was going on so i asked the few people around what was going on and they said everythiing is ok. Milan also had alot of mosquitos i got 20 bites in one night. venice was very inteeresting as well you can only get around by boat/ gondala. my dad refused to take a water taxi when we first got there so we ended up walking over five brideges with luggage in 105 degree wheather. The gondala was cool thouggh its crazy how well the men now to control them its not that easy with so much water traffic. Rome was the nicest city in my opinion, i went to vatican city i saw pope john paul II tomb and all the other pope's. I also seen the sistene chapel which was the most moving piece of art i have ever seen. i seen many other things in vatican city as well. Rome has a very social night life if your ever in rome go to "fuori del compo" it has bars, clubs , live music , its such a great experience. The island of pompei was a very dramatic moment for me. thousands of years ago the whole town got destroyed by a horrible volcano killing everyone if it didnt kill you the ash did. you were able to see the actual dead people and how there body stayed preserved after all this time, i seen mother's holding their childing, men hiding in cubby whole's it like the town froze . I was able to see the town and all the homes and shops that got destroyed. I went to naples to visit my family my dad grew up there and some of my family still lives there. It was very exciting because i hardly see them. Naples isent a tourist attraction but you can get the best food in the world there. i never had such good food in my life then in naples. My dad showed us his exact house that he lived in when he grew up so it was kind of kool. The leaning tower of pizza is kool too i took the pictures where it looks like i am pushed the buidling it was fun. Although we got stressed at some points and had to drive so far sometime with a werid car that we had to retrun 2 times because my dad burnt out the cluctch it was still an experience i will never forget. If you go to italy you have to go all aorund their is so much to see and do. From the statue of david in florence to vatican city the island of pompei is is beautiful, the food is excellent, the shopping is great, i wish i could go thier all the time. Its so much fun!

south fin grill

I just got a job at the South Fin Grill in Staten Island on Father Capadano road. It is nothing like the way i expected it to be. Every thing they do is so precise, its crazy. I worked at Ruth Cris steak house in Boca raton and it is nothing like this. Even with my experience they won't make you a server right away. You have to be a server assistant for a month then work at the Vanderbilt for a night which they own too. May i add to work at the Vanderbilt you need a certain tuxedo which i 160 dollars for one night. Then after then you have to get 3 Manager approvals then you can be a server at the south fin grill. To me that is absolutely crazy, i know you might need extra training because its a nice restaurant but its not that serious. This 70 year old manager greeted a family that came in to eat by saying "this is a 3 star restaurant it would be a 4 star but we don't have table cloths on our tables" who in their right mind says that to someone who is coming in to eat in a restaurant. They also have these coffee splash guards well actually its just a plate the you but in front of the coffee pot so you don't splash the person your serving. The plate has computer paper printed out and taped on the plate saying "We take care of you" , i think that why its a 3 star restaurant personally. Why would you tape computer paper on a plate and show it to some one as your serving them coffee. I think it is understood when you go to a nice restaurant you get taken care of , telling someone that typed is a little trashy if you ask me. You should never tell some one what your doing for them its should be understood and given , when you tell someone its make them think in a way your desperate for like a bigger tip or something. I just didn't think being a server was that serious i know its hard work believe me i did it for 9 months, but its not impossible you take the order type it in the computer, check on your guests, smile, and the bus boys run food in expensive restaurants you don't really have to worry about carrying 5 plates in your hand. I just think the way they make you do slave work for a month to become a server is ridiculous. I honestly have to look for anther job.

car accident

The other day i was driving to Manhattan with my friend Laura to go shopping. I take the same way i always do the BQE to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel , i was on the BQE and i guess traffic was coming my friend Laura was screaming "stop" "stop" and before i knew it, it was too late. I hit a mini van in front of me with my big truck that i have. i was so scared because i never actually got into a small accident i usually total the car , so i didn't know what to do. i was like to Laura should i get out of the car what should i do? Finally the guy came out of the care he was actually a acidic Jewish man with his whole family in the car, i felt so bad. he was like nothing happened don't worry about it meanwhile i dented his car Little bit, he didn't Even care i apologized like 10 times and got back in my car. I just couldn't believe i did that, how stupid can you be not to see a car in front of you, it boggles my mind. I was so nervous after that because i should not be making mistakes like this i have been driving for 3 years now, and i seem to have no gotten better even a little bit. I am so happy no one was hurt , that's the most important part. Driving is a very serious thing it kid so many people a day. So when i make a stupid mistake i get mad at myself because i should be more cautious. I think i learned a lesson though Always pay attention to traffic especially in new york because it can just stop out of no where.

my cousins

My little cousing John and Phil are so wild and crazy. I watch at least one of them once a week. They are 7 years old and twins. My cousin john is so wild he picks on phil all the time. They come in my room and cause havic they throw all my clothes on the floor spill things and make the biggest mess you can't imagine. Every time i take them too chuckie cheese i end up spending 4 hours there becasue they won't stop whining until i get more coins i love them so much though they are gorgues. John is very smart he plays football and actually skipped a grade. Phil is a little slower then john but it ok. Phil likes to put things together and decorate, while john is very manly and into sports. It's crazy becasue they are twins but yet so different they dont look much alike and they have totally different personalities. Phil loves girls his favorite is zoey on nick, John hates girls he won't even play with them. No matter what i do for him he still says he does not like me i know he is kidding and just trying to act like the cool kid because i am a girl. They are so funny though they are so honest and always rat people out in my family and get them in trouble, everytime i want the gossip i go to them. Its crazy the things kids know this days, they also wake up at 7:00 so if one of them stays over sunday morning i am up at 7:00am. Its great though i love it. The funniest thing i can remeber is when they rearranged my room and hid everything and threw cereal on my floor and crushed it i was going crazy for days i couldnt find anything. I called my aunt about 20 times to ask them where they put things and everytime they said they dont know. i love them so much but if you dont keep a close watch on them you might be in for a big surprise.

domenican republic

I can't wait until June 2, 2008 i am going to the Dominican republic with my boyfriend my best friend Kellie and her boyfriend and her two friends. we are all staying at the same hotel. it's an all inclusive hotel because your not allowed to leave the resort area because the streets are very dangerous there. our hotel has 8 restaurants , bars, clubs , etc. i am going to have so much fun! i am going to wake up early every morning and just start partying. i am going to para sailing because i haven't done it in years. you can also go to other hotels and see what they have going on over there because it all on a strip. i love going to knew places i wish i can go some where different every month. i can also rent wave runners there because i have my boating licence i am staying there for 7 nights and eight days.My friends got the trip at a very good price too because they booked it early and got a good deal on the hotel. i am just so excited because there is just so much i am going to be able to do. i absolutely love swim up bars and they have it in all the pools. i love the ocean it is my favorite place to be. i am very good at many water sports, and i swim in the water all day. There is nothing more relaxing then the ocean i love it, 7 nights in the Dominican republic i am going to have the most craziest time.

ran over my boyfriend by accident

Two weeks ago my car broke down i ran out of gas, and i didnt realize so i got gas with my friend and left my car parked down the block because i didnt feel like driving it back. later on my boyfriend comes over and he drives me to my car because i am lazy so i said i will be there and get you at my house up the block. He likes to joke around like always so he jumped in the middle of the street, and realized i didn't see him becasue i was not slowing down. He went to the side but when i turned the corner i side swiped him and he flew into a pole. Luckly he was ok and i just tapped him. I just couldn't believe i hit him with my huge car. I just don't understand knowing the way i drive why on earth would you joke around to see if i will stop, it basically like commiting sucide. We joke about it all the time how i just hit him with my car. Atleast our boring study night turned out to have some highlight in it. No matter where i go or what i do something crazy always happens. I am starting to think its me, i am just so hyper so anything can happen when your with me. Atleast if we break up he will always remeber me because i hit him with my car.
